Track 1: CARSTEN LASSEN
10.00-10.50

CEO, Specialisterne – “Turning Neurodiversity into a Business Advantage”

The world is driven by technological innovation. And the companies that will win the future are those that find the talent others overlook. In a time where the competition for IT and tech specialists is fiercer than ever, it doesn’t help to look for those who fit into the box—it’s about finding those who think outside of it. There is a sea of untapped talent—but no one is fishing in it.

Specialisterne has over 20 years of successful experience in finding, developing, and matching IT and tech specialists with autism and similar qualities with companies in need of skills in areas such as software development, data management, cybersecurity, and quality assurance.

Hear Carsten Lassen CEO of Specialisterne unfold how to tap into the unused pool of neurodivergent talent and at the same time create a neurodiverse friendly environment in your company – a change that benefits all your employees.

Track 2: JOHAN LAURITSEN
10.00-10.50

CEO and founder of the company PROBE – “PERSPECT!VE – Seeing Life Through a New Lens”

Join Johan Lauritsen as he invites you to see life from a different perspective. As a wheelchair user living with spinal muscular atrophy, Johan shares his personal story with depth, humor, and honesty—challenging assumptions and expanding our understanding of diversity and inclusion.

Through a DEIB (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging) lens, Johan’s keynote explores how people with visible and invisible disabilities navigate everyday life, systemic barriers, and social bias. He sheds light on how we, as organizations and individuals, can create environments where all voices are heard and everyone can thrive—regardless of physical ability.

Track 3: NICKLAS PYRDOL
10.00-11.50 – Workshop 1

HR Influencer and Expert in Recruitment and Talent Development – “Making your attraction and recruitment more inclusive”

Unfortunately, we must admit that there are still several demographics that have challenges getting into the job market or getting the jobs they are qualified for.

But attraction and recruitment in a DEIB-perspective is somewhat of a paradox. The process itself has the purpose of de-selecting 99% of all people to hire one and thereby it is designed to exclude. But how do we ensure that the exclusion does not unconsciously or consciously affect people who would thrive in the role and company, based on diversity factors?

Max. 50 participants

Track 1: JULIE GERDES & HEATHER TARTAGLIA (US)
11.00-11.50

Julie Gerdes, Partner, Head of People Sustainability, EY DK & Heather Tartagila, Global Neurodiversity Center of Excellence, Implementation Leader, EY US

Approximately 15-20% of the workforce is neurodivergent being the new large minority group. Over 50 % of Gen Z identify as ‘definitely’ (22 %) or ‘somewhat’ (31 %) neurodiverse.

Reality is: a significant portion of the talent pool in your business is neurodivergent and must be retained – this calls for action now. It’s not just about doing what’s right; it’s about doing what’s smart. Neuro-inclusive organizations are better positioned to win the war of the talent, innovate, adapt, and ultimately, succeed.

Track 2: SANDIE WEST
11.00-11.50

Danish journalist, author, and podcast host – “Leading Through Loss: Supporting Grief with Compassion and Strategy in the Workplace

Grief is an inevitable part of life, yet many workplaces struggle to navigate how best to support employees experiencing loss. How can leaders and HR professionals create a culture of empathy while maintaining productivity? What concrete steps can organizations take to ensure a grieving employee feels seen, supported, and able to reintegrate into work at their own pace?

In this session Sandie Westh will provide strategic insights into managing grief in the workplace. Drawing from both personal experience and extensive research, she will explore best practices for leadership and HR professionals working at a tactical and strategic level.

Track 1: JALAL ARABI
12.50-13.40

Danish-Palestinian comedian, speaker, and activist – “Between Worlds: A Trans Journey of Identity, Culture, and Belonging”

In this talk, Jalal Arabi shares his personal story of navigating life as a transgender man with Palestinian roots in Denmark. With a mix of humor and sincerity, he delves into the challenges and triumphs of breaking norms and expectations. The talk offers insight into identity, belonging, and finding one’s place in the world when existing at the intersection of multiple minorities. Through personal anecdotes and reflections, Jalal invites the audience to reconsider their own biases and perspectives on gender, culture, and identity.

Track 2: CAMILLA KRING
12.50-13.40

Founder of Super Navigator – “Chronoleadership – A Call for Chronodiversity, Chronoequity and Chronoinclusion”

Humans are born with a circadian rhythm – a sleep-wake rhythm. Variations in human genes cause us to sleep and wake at different times of the day. You are genetically predisposed to be either a morning person or an evening person.

Knowledge-based societies requires an inclusion of different circadian rhythms, and there is much to be gained for individuals, for companies, and for society if we let go of prejudices and create social acceptance and respect for our diversity in circadian rhythms. Chronoleadership is a new framework for creating attractive and productive workplaces for both morning persons and evening persons.

Track 3: NICKLAS PYRDOL
12.50-14.40: Workshop 2

Track 1: METTE BUHL
13.50-14.40

Danske Bank – “Psychological Safety: The Common Denominator in High-Performing Teams”

In this insightful session, Mette Buhl Christoffersen will explore the strategic role Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) plays in aligning with corporate strategies and meeting the stringent requirements of the new EU CSR Directives. Centered on Danske Bank’s innovative partnership with the NGO ReDI School, Mette will delve into how this collaboration has effectively integrated migrant and refugee women into the tech workforce through a robust fellowship model.

With more than 50% of these interns transitioning into permanent roles, this partnership not only promotes social integration but also illustrates the tangible business benefits of strategic DEI initiatives. Attendees will gain valuable insights into leveraging DEI as a potent enabler for business success and CSR requirements.

Track 2: EMILIA VAN HAUEN
13.50-14.40

Sociologist and keynote speaker – “Beloved or Brutal Belonging”

No matter who we are, we humans need two things in our lives to feel that our lives have meaning and direction. One is that we belong to a community, and the other is that we contribute to the community with something of value to the group.

In the past these communities were much more given – also in the workplaces – than they are today, so what can you do to create a good community where everyone feels like they belong? What does it mean to have a neo-tribal community and why is that the future? And how can we create belonging instead of withholding?

MATT LINDLEY (UK)
Keynote:
15.05-15.50

Diversity expert and former RAF pilot – “Diversity and Inclusion“

As one of the Royal Air Force’s first openly gay pilots, Matt Lindley shares a powerful story of resilience and courage. When he first joined the RAF, being open about his sexuality could have led to imprisonment—forcing him to hide a fundamental part of his identity. In this keynote, Matt draws on his personal journey and professional expertise in psychology to explore the vital connection between performance and well-being.

Far more than a coming-out story, this is a compelling account of determination, inner strength, and the power of authenticity. Attendees will gain insight into inclusive leadership and learn how empathy and mental resilience can shape healthier, higher-performing workplace cultures.
